New today was a flat piece of bread sliced in half with a
fried egg placed inside. That was my breakfast…oh yeah, milk. There was a glass
of milk. Oooookay. Next…
A random craving to watch the Pixar short ‘Jack Jack Attack’
was birthed this morning. No idea why but it just appeared out of no where. It
made me kinda sad since my laptop isn’t exactly available to help me with this
issue. That’s when a miracle happened! In art class, we spent the entire time
watching all the Pixar shorts, “Jack Jack Attack’ being one of them. What are
the odds?! That’s just too weird but an appreciated blessing! It blows my mind!
XD
Trying something different at lunch, I ordered a ham and egg
toast. Why no picture you ask? It’s because you would only see bread on the
outside. The ham was one single slice with a fried egg and a tad bit of sauce.
Basically ¾ was bread with the remaining ¼ being the other contents. Not very
photogenic. The toast sandwich itself wasn’t bad, just not something to go wild
about. I was attempting to find one like my host father made me that was so
delicious but so far, no luck. So far that is. ;P
In military class the students learned how to hold a gun and
the sniping position. I say “the students” because I wasn’t included in the activity.
For the whole class I just sat down doing nothing. Joy. Watching them try to
hold a gun was a source of amusement. They didn’t have any experience with guns
and didn’t seem to pay attention to the teacher’s instructions. So when they
placed this gun under their armpit or way back above the shoulder, a chuckle
was called for. Or placing the left hand above the barrel instead of under. Or
holding the ammo box instead of either the trigger or barrel. All of it was
funny because it happened with at least half the class, no one learning from
other’s mistakes. Dude I could’ve rocked that class if given the chance. I’m a
cowgirl after all! Granted I’ve fired rifles and not military guns but still!
And no, the two guns used today weren’t loaded. :P
For the first time in Taiwan, I was exposed to a post
office. The German exchange student had a package to send to her family and was
shipping it out today. A slight heart attack was had because when expecting a
shipping cost of less than 800NT, the price scale read around 2000NT. Holy
sha-moley! Waaaay too expensive! Battling out why it was priced so high when
being told a lower estimate, the problem was figured out. It would indeed have
bee 2000NT if it was an envelope. She had a package. There’s a BIG difference
between the two. It’s good she inquired about it and I’m glad I was there to
observe, learning from the mistake.
Last thing to report, I have an external hard drive! Whoop
whoop! 1T baby! My dear data is now safe and sound! Whew, that’s good. This
means a trip to the store for laptop repairs tomorrow shall continue as
planned. I look forward to it getting fixed and working properly. I want my
Rosetta Stone, to be caught up on Taffy, write Rotary reports due December 1st
(Yeah, they’re so late) and all that other jazz. A bright tomorrow indeed! I
wish you the same! Have a lovely day! ^_^
Dang, 1 terabit of storage is.....massive O.o Thats all I've got to say.
ReplyDeleteTrust me. I need it. With all the data I take up with bombardments of pictures, videos, reports, taffys, etc. it's definitely the choice for me. ;)
